The Oregon Star Party encourages the use of solar panels or wind generators to charge batteries

9 of the past 11 years the USFS has not allowed generator use beyond those required for the food and service vendors and OSP operations
As in past years, the USFS will not make the decision on whether or not we can have generators until just a day or two before OSP. So plan on not having the use of a generator.

USFS POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE PER FOREST SERVICE MANDATES AT ANY TIME.
We are normally under "Extremely Restricted Use"
and generators will not be allowed except by special permit
for food vendors, OSP operations, ISP, Shower truck, and medical.
